Geoff possesses a wealth of legal experience. Geoff graduated from the University of Sydney in 1985 and built his law career in Canberra, Sydney, and London before making partner at Deacons, Graham & James (now Norton Rose Fullbright) in 1996.

A few years later he joined Hicksons and then Maddocks before starting his own legal firm, Charnock O’Brien, in 2010. Contractual issues, commercial transactions, and corporate law are Geoff’s key areas of expertise.

Geoff has also worked across a range of industries within the public and private sectors, including agribusiness, construction, education, FMCG, manufacturing, property development and services.

Highly regarded for his straightforward approach, Geoff is a strong communicator and is known for consistently delivering positive results.
